Beginners Guide for Kitesurfing

In the beginning, you might face some difficulties with kite surfing, but soon, those will change into exciting and thrilling memories. You shouldn’t be afraid to fall since you will experience several falls at the beginning. Start with confidence and remember that one day you will be an expert in it. Go out to the waters and make mistakes. You will learn kite surfing in a better way from your mistakes and also grip on to the basics well that is taught by our expert. Body dragging is a very important part of kite surfing so that you will be able to make your way up if you lose your board.

Practice our safety measures so that there is no risk even if the kite gets tangled. Don’t panic after a fall just take your time and learn the skill with confidence. Knowing how to control the bar is the next part. Always keep the bar out as instinctively, in the beginning, you will pull the bar towards you which, is a common mistake of beginners. You succeed in learning the skill when you will be able to lean back and let the kite take you along with it, but make sure you have enough speed.




Believe in yourself and go to the water confidently and return as a champion. We will be providing you all sorts of support needed. Practice body balance and learn to jump. You will fall but, get up and practice again. You will succeed with enough practice. Try to enjoy the wind and water around you and, they will help you win the skill. Don’t take any stress about it as it’s all about having fun. There are five different wind directions that you need to know before you start with kite surfing.

The five wind directions are:

· Sideshore

· Side Onshore

· Onshore

· Side Offshore

· Offshore

Some of these directions are safe and are optimal for beginners, while the others are for advanced kitesurfers. The safest wind directions are Sideshore and Side Onshore. The dangerous ones are offshore. Sideshore is perfect for a beginner and, once you know the basics, you will try Side Onshore wind directions also. Offshore isn't recommended. Beginners are recommended to try kitesurfing with onshore wind directions as there is very little chance that something will go wrong. Even if something goes wrong, you will drift back to the shore.

Don’t hold the kite too hard and oversteer the kite which is also a common mistake. You should fly the kite with your fingertips. Catch up on your lessons properly even though they may be time consuming or confusing. The faster the kite moves; the more power you have. Have fun and practice with our expert at Revillage.
