According to the data on 15th October 2020,
Ahmedabad has 176 PM2.5 that comes under the category of unhealthy air (151 -200 PM2.5) and Delhi has 277 PM2.5 that comes under the category of very unhealthy conditions (201-300). They translate to almost 7 and 12 cigarettes per day respectively.
The above-mentioned measure is based on the concentration of fine particulate matter, or PM2.5, per cubic meter.
In Ahmedabad, everyone may begin to experience health effects while in Delhi the entire population is more likely to be affected. We shouldn’t risk our life due to these population effects. Let’s join hands for a much safer and cleaner environment.
